An exclusive program!

Imagine attending a local Spanish school during the academic year, being among Spanish students and becoming part of the school community. All this while being hosted in our home where we’ll make every effort to make you feel right at home in no time, living in a relaxed family atmosphere and turning out to be another family member.

On top of that, The Spanish Program will support you at any time and we’ll focus on your wellbeing, personal needs and we’ll help you with the Spanish language and culture at all times. We are a family run company with a limited number of student places. This allows us to offer parents and students an exclusive personal attention that parents value as the most important part of our program.

Your parents and you will be able to meet us online before arriving to Spain via videoconference. We will prepare your trip together and you will be able to ask any questions or concerns you may have. Later, during the course, we will keep giving support to parents and children with regular videoconferences.

Further to this, our home is located in Puente Viesgo, Cantabria, one of the safest areas in Europe. But our region it is not just safe, it is also an ideal area with lovely beaches and striking mountains.

*Moving to a new culture and staying in unfamiliar surroundings without your normal support structure can be very stressful. A student with pre-existing conditions on a long-term exchange program could exacerbate whatever challenges the student was previously facing. In order to ensure the safety of our family, other participants, school students and staff, we must be rigorous in our pre-screening of all high school abroad applicants. Therefore, we may not be able to accept students who have struggled with any kind of mental illness. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Obsessive-compulsive disorder
  • Eating disorders
